O`Brien leaves six in Derby trial Aidan O`Brien has left six horses, headed by leading Vodafone Derby fancy Galileo, in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes at Leopardstown on Sunday. Galileo, 6-1 second favourite in the Epsom betting behind 2000 Guineas hero Golan, is unbeaten in his two starts to date and was an impressive winner on his seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown last month. The Sadler`s Wells colt is reported to be an intended runner in Sunday`s contest by his trainer. Among those taken out of the Group Three event, for which 10 stood their ground at today`s final forfeit stage, are O`Brien`s highly-rated pair, Hemingway and Beckett. Meanwhile, Frances Crowley, who has enjoyed tremendous success in the past fortnight with Sackville over fences, has three possibles for the Derrinstown Stud 1000 Guineas Trial on the same card, for which 30 fillies are entered. Annie`s Luck, Saying Grace and Turtles Reprisal - who shocked O`Brien`s Freud at Leopardstown last month - could all represent the Piltown handler in the Listed contest. 'We might run them all although it`s hard to know which one would be the best,' said Miss Crowley today. 'Saying Grace has been placed in Listed company but we`d have to see if the other two are up to that class.' Miss Crowley also reported her star chaser in good heart after his eighth successive chase victory in the Grade One Powers Gold Cup on Saturday. 'He`s fine and is in good form although we still have to decide which route he will take to the Cheltenham Gold Cup,' she said. Godolphin have left one-time Sagitta 2000 Guineas hope West Order in the Listed Amethyst Stakes over a mile. Another unbeaten colt, he is being aimed at the Irish 2000 Guineas by trainer Saeed bin Suroor.
